These terms and conditions (the Terms of Use) together with any other documents referred to herein (unless otherwise stated), set out the terms and conditions governing your online purchase of our Gift Cards ("Gift Cards") from Läderach Canada online (www.laderach.com) and your use of our Gift Cards at Läderach Canada online and in Canada stores.

By purchasing and/ or using our Gift Cards, you accept these Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use also bind the user/ redeemer of the Gift Card if that isn't you.
Please read these Terms of Use carefully and ensure that you understand them before purchasing a Gift Card(s) online.
If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you should not purchase or use our Gift Card(s) online.

How can I purchase a Läderach Gift Card?

Läderach Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”) may be purchased at www.laderach.com and at Läderach stores.

In Canada, Gift Cards may only be purchased in Canadian Dollars.

Gift Cards purchased online are in digital form and are only sent by email to the email address indicated during the checkout. These digital cards may be used both online and in any Laderach store within Canada.

Gift Cards purchased in our stores are only issued in physical (card) form and may be redeemed online or at any Laderach store within Canada.

How can I redeem a Läderach Gift Card?

Läderach Gift Cards may be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products for sale in the same currency as the Gift Card.

They can be redeemed www.laderach.com or at Läderach stores.

Only one Gift Card may be used per purchase on www.laderach.com while up to 10 cards can be redeemed simultaneously at Läderach stores.

Once completed, the value of each purchase is deducted from the redeemer’s Gift Card balance.

For online purchases if the cost of a purchase exceeds the redeemer’s Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method other than another Gift Card.

The gift card can be used until your balance is zero. When the balance of the card is zero, the gift card loses its validity and can no longer be activated or used again.

How can I check the balance of a Läderach Gift Card?

To check your Gift Card balance, visit our website www.laderach.com/ca-en/giftcards or ask for assistance from a staff member in one of our stores.

The balance you see when viewing Läderach Gift Card balances is an estimate only.

In most cases, the balance is adjusted immediately when you make a purchase online or in stores, but there may be occasions when the updated balance is delayed for a period of time.

Are there any fees applied to a Läderach Gift Card?

No, there are no fees applied to Gift Cards.

Does a Läderach Gift Card expire?

No, there is no expiry date on Gift Cards.

Can I consolidate multiple Läderach Gift Cards?

No, we do not consolidate or combine multiple gift cards into one gift card.

You may not use a gift card balance to purchase a new Läderach Gift Card but you can use up to 10 gift cards towards a single transaction at a Laderach store.

Are there limitations when using a Läderach Gift Card?

Gift Cards sold in Canada can be redeemed only in Canada based stores as well as the Läderach Canada webshop transacting in CAD (www.laderach.com/ca-en).

Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.

Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, used for unauthorized commercial purposes, including to facilitate the resale or shipment of goods from www.laderach.com/ca-en.

We do not offer balance increase or reload on Gift Cards. Once the balance of a Gift Card is empty, a new Gift Card may be purchased.

Can a Gift Card be refunded?

No, Läderach Gift Cards are non-refundable for cash, except in provinces where required by law, according to the laws of such province.

In Quebec cards with a balance of $5 or less may be exchanged for cash at customer request. For all other provinces or territories any remaining balance will remain on the gift card indefinitely and may be used at any time towards a future order.

What happens in case of loss or theft?

The gift card is not registered to an individual owner and is freely transferrable therefore the Läderach gift card must be treated like cash.

The risk of loss and title for the Gift Card pass therefore to the purchaser upon the purchase of the Gift Card. We are not responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. We do not refund Gift Cards. If your Gift Card was lost, stolen, or destroyed, you may ask for a replacement of the Gift Card by providing store staff or customer service with the Gift Card ID. They will check the remaining balance, cancel the lost Gift Card, and issue a new one containing the remaining balance at the time that the replacement request was made.

Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to close customer accounts and to require alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on www.laderach.com/ca-en or in Läderach stores. We reserve the right to require additional verification of your identity, Gift Card or account ownership, or provision of an additional payment instrument, before permitting you to use a Gift Card.

Limitation of Liability

We make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to Gift Cards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event a Gift Card is not functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, will be the replacement of such Gift Card. If applicable law does not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, some or all the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights.

Personal Data

No personal data is attached to the Gift Cards. The only information attached to Gift Cards is a Card ID and a PIN code. Gift Cards purchased or redeemed online will be associated with every purchase or redemption transaction involving the card. For all personal data collected and processed in relation to the online transaction, the Läderach Privacy Notice applies. All transactions related to Gift Cards are recorded. No personal data at all is associated with Gift Cards purchased and redeemed entirely in our physical stores.

General Terms

As is the case with all orders placed in the online shop, the Läderach General Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Notice apply to the purchase of Gift Cards online.
Gift Cards are issued by Laderach Canada Inc, 3200-650 West Georgia St Vancouver BC .
Governing Law: This agreement and all matters arising out of it shall be governed by the law of the province of Ontario in all respects, including interpretation of this Terms and Conditions Agreement and choice of law provisions. Both you and Laderach Canada Inc agree to submit to personal jurisdiction in Ontario, and further agree that any arbitration or any cause of action relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be brought to Toronto, ON.

Notices to you from Laderach Canada Inc will be directed to the last address you provided to Laderach Canada Inc.
Entire Agreement: This Terms and Conditions Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between you and Laderach Canada Inc and supersedes all prior representations, agreements, or statements between us regarding the subject matter of this Agreement. If there is any conflict between any of the incorporated documents or provisions and the text of this Agreement and other provisions on this Site, the terms of this Terms and Conditions Agreement shall be given full force and effect. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by an arbitrator or judge to be ambiguous or inconsistent, that provision shall be interpreted in a way to make it consistent with the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions. If any provision of these Terms of Service is held by an arbitrator or judge to be void, the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall be given full force and effect.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time for operational reasons, or to prevent fraud.
