Termination of partnership

After an open exchange, the Zurich Film Festival and Läderach have jointly decided to end their partnership. The SRF documentary has stirred everyone up. Although there are no accusations against the current management of Läderach, the suffering of the alleged victims is nevertheless associated with the family and company name. With this decision we want to ensure that the festival focuses solely on the joy of cinema.

Immediately after the attack was detected, the emergency board established for such cases was deployed to verify the incident as well as to decide on further measures to contain the problem. The owners elected Johannes Läderach as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Johannes Läderach belongs to the third generation and has sat on the Board of Directors of the company, which is 100% family-owned, since 2018. He will assume his new role on the board in addition to serving as CEO. Elias Läderach, a member of the company’s Executive Board and reigning World Chocolate Master, and David Läderach, who has managed the company’s operations in Germany since the beginning of the year, were also newly elected to the Board of Directors as representatives of the third generation.
