Largest Swiss Chocolate Retailer Continues US Retail Expansion to Satisfy Demand of Fresh Premium Chocolate
Läderach – chocolatier suisse announced today the upcoming openings of two premium chocolate stores in Miami’s Aventura Mall (June 15) and Galleria Fort Lauderdale (June 16). Each store will feature more than 85+ varieties of fresh artisanal chocolate directly from Switzerland to be experienced with the five senses (sight, sound, touch, scent, and taste). The stores also include a dedicated FrischSchoggi (fresh chocolate) counter, where chocolate lovers can select from over multiple varieties of its iconic hand-broken chocolate bark. Because the company controls the entire production and distribution channel, Läderach’s product freshness is second-to-none. World Chocolate Master – Elias Läderach leads production and innovation, and all chocolate is made bean-to-bar in-house, finished by hand, and brought directly to its stores worldwide.
“Since we entered North America over the past year, we’ve experienced strong e-commerce demand from
Floridians for fresh premium swiss chocolate. As society reopens, the demand for finding sweet moments
of everyday enjoyment and unique gifting ideas is on the rise and we are thrilled to help be that
solution with our new Läderach chocolate stores in South Florida,” said Nathanael Hausmann, president,
Läderach North America. These new stores come as a result of Läderach signing an asset purchase
agreement on Valentine’s Day to assume the leases of more than 30 former Godiva stores across the US.
Through the end of Summer 2021, Läderach will continue to announce and open the locations of its
remaining stores coast-to-coast. Läderach’s store opening builds upon its retail and e-commerce
expansion to satisfy growing premium chocolate demand that started in November 2019 with its entry into
NYC, Toronto and London. In December 2020, Läderach opened its 100th store in the world on 5th Avenue in
New York City.
