These terms and conditions (the Terms of Use) together with any other documents referred to herein (unless otherwise stated), set out the terms and conditions governing your online purchase of our Gift Cards ("Gift Cards") from Läderach UK online (https://laderach.com/uk-en/) and your use of our Gift Cards at Läderach UK online and in UK stores.

By purchasing and/ or using our Gift Cards, you accept these Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use also bind the user/ redeemer of the Gift Card if that isn't you.
Please read these Terms of Use carefully and ensure that you understand them before purchasing a Gift Card(s) online.
If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you should not purchase or use our Gift Card(s) online.

How can I purchase a Läderach Gift Card online?

Läderach Gift Cards may be purchased at https://laderach.com/uk-en.

They may only be purchased in GB pounds sterling.

You may click on the tab for 'Gift Cards' to start your order. An order for a Gift Card is placed when you click the 'order' button. You must check your order carefully before submitting it because once submitted, the order cannot be changed. Once we receive your order, a confirmation email will be sent to you acknowledging receipt of your order. You will then receive an email attaching your purchased Gift Card(s). This will be sent to the email address provided by you during the checkout usually within an hour of purchase. Gift Cards will not be shipped.

Please also see clause 4 of our Online Terms and Conditions of Business for Customers for how to make an order for purchase of a Gift Card and to find out when a legally binding contract between you the purchaser and Läderach UK is formed.

How can I redeem a Läderach Gift Card purchased online?

Läderach Gift Cards may be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products for sale in the same currency (GB pounds sterling) as the Gift Card.

They may be redeemed at Läderach UK online (https://laderach.com/uk-en/) during the online check out process and also at Läderach UK stores.

Only one Gift Card may be used per purchase online. Once completed, the value of each purchase shall be deducted from the redeemer’s Gift Card balance. If the full amount of the Gift Card is not redeemed in full on a transaction, no change will be given. The balance shall remain on the Gift Card for future use. If the value of a purchase exceeds the redeemer’s Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method other than another Gift Card. The Gift Card can be used until your balance is zero. When the balance of the card is zero, the Gift Card loses its validity and can no longer be activated or used again.

Please note that separate in-store Gift Card terms and conditions apply to redemption in-store. Please ask in-store for further information.

How can I check the balance of a Läderach Gift Card?

To check your Gift Card balance online please visit our website www.laderach.com/uk-en/gift-cards. In most cases, the balance is adjusted immediately when you make a purchase online but there may be occasions when the updated balance is delayed for a period of time.

Are there any fees applied to a Läderach Gift Card?

No, there are no fees applied to Gift Cards.

Does a Läderach Gift Card expire?

No, there is no expiry date on Gift Cards.

Can I consolidate multiple Läderach Gift Cards?

No, we do not consolidate or combine multiple Gift Cards into one Gift Card per customer requests. You may not consolidate or combine multiple Läderach Gift Cards to purchase a new Läderach Gift Card.

Are there limitations when using a Läderach Gift Card?

Gift cards purchased online at www.laderach.com may only be purchased in GB pounds sterling and redeemed towards purchases of eligible products for sale in the same currency.

Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.

Gift cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, used for unauthorised commercial purposes, including to facilitate the resale or shipment of goods from https://laderach.com/uk-en/ or redeemed for cash.

We do not offer balance increases on Gift Cards. Once the balance of a Gift Card is nil, a new Gift Card may be purchased.

Can a Gift Card be refunded?

No, Läderach Gift Cards are not refundable. Nor may they be exchanged for cash.

What happens in case of loss, theft or destruction?

The Gift Card is impersonal and transferable. The risk of loss and title for the Gift Card passes to the purchaser upon the purchase of the Gift Card. We are not responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. However, if your Gift Card has been lost, stolen, or destroyed, the purchaser may ask for a replacement of the Gift Card by providing customer services with the Gift Card ID plus proof of purchase and a detailed explanation of the circumstances. It is in our discretion, upon a review of the facts and circumstances, to issue you with a new card. If we decide to do so, we will check the remaining balance, cancel the lost, stolen or destroyed Gift Card, and issue a new one containing the remaining balance at the time that the replacement request was made.

Please note that only the purchaser may ask for a replacement in these circumstances and that a beneficiary only of the Gift Card has no such rights.

Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to close customer accounts and to require alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on https://laderach.com/uk-en/. We reserve the right to require additional verification of your identity, Gift Card or account ownership, or provision of an additional payment instrument, before permitting you to use a Gift Card.

Limitation of Liability

We shall only be liable to purchasers of our Gift Cards. If you are a beneficiary of a Läderach Gift Card but not the purchaser then we have no legal liability to you beyond that which we cannot exclude in law.

Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury) or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, we are not legally responsible for any: losses that were not foreseeable to you and us when the contract was formed; losses that were not caused by any breach of this contract or any negligence on our part; business losses; or losses to non-consumers.

Cancellation and Refunds

As our Läderach Gift Cards represent a contract for a service of a payment nature, they are exempted from the cooling-off provisions under the consumer regulations and you are not able to cancel and return your order and/or request a refund or replacement.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms of Use affects your statutory rights whether you are the purchaser or the person redeeming the Gift Card. You may also have other rights in law. For more information please visit Citizens Advice website www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ or call 0808 223 1133.

Personal Data

There is no personal data attached to an individual Gift Card. The only information attaching is a Gift Card ID and a PIN code. However, when purchasing Gift Cards from us you (the purchaser) will be providing us with personal information such as identity and contact and payment information - this applies to online and in-store purchases. Also, when you visit our website we collect certain personal data. It is therefore important to read these policies as they explain how and why we use your personal information and what rights you have in that regard.

General Terms

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time for operational reasons, or to prevent fraud. However, the terms which apply to your online purchase of Gift Card(s) will be those in force at the time of purchase.

Läderach Gift cards are issued by Läderach UK Limited, 2 Cricklade Court, Old Town, Swindon, SN1 3EY, United Kingdom.

The laws of England and Wales apply to these Gift Card Terms of Use and the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise), although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.

Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
